The Healthy Mom – Healthy Baby conference goals and agenda directly address the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) and The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing's (UTSON) mission of impacting the lifelong learning of nurses, who work in diverse and underserved home health care environments, to increase their knowledge in areas that will improve the care they provide to parents and children in the program by providing Continuing Nurse Education (CNE). The UTSON provides CNE for the advancement in quality education and professional development through direct promotion of educational or resource organizations that mutually benefit the goals of nurses and nurse educators in the home healthcare community.
